The auditor performs works normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects, by nature of their complexity and difficulty, require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a particular field of Management Systems. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, the auditor will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures.
What You Will Do:
Review management system manuals and associated documentation for compliance with requirements and applicable codes and/or standards. Plan, schedule and conduct initial, surveillance and re-certification audits. Prepare and maintain audit logs and all other required documentation. Prepare and issue reports and recommendations for certification. Lead introductory and closing meetings at client’s facilities. Maintain audit independence without involvement in business development activities. Additional program-specific roles and responsibilities defined in each program procedure.What You Will Need:
Education and Experience:
Professional education or training equivalent to university level and a minimum of three (3) years of experience related to Management Systems. Completed and approved on Lead Auditor Course according to ISO9001 or ISO45001 or ISO1400.1Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ability to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to work well with others. Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.It Would Be Nice If You Had:
Former experience in audits made to a Certification Body.Reporting Relationships:
The incumbent will report to the Technical Manager. This position does not have any direct reports.
