Position Summary:
Through a partner agency, the Contractor, the Process Analyst will support the Transformation Office, by driving improvement and optimization initiatives across multiple departments. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to design and implement effective solutions. By embedding within various departments, the Process Analyst will gain an in-depth understanding of operations and play a pivotal role in achieving organizational transformation objectives.
Accountabilities:
Conduct process analysis through collaboration with department stakeholders to understand current processes, workflows, and pain points Develop detailed process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to visualize as-is processes and conduct root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks Drive process optimization and improvement by designing future processes that enhance efficiency and align with organizational goals Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and system enhancements; and recommend and implement best practices tailored to departmental needs Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and monitor their impact Support change management efforts, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement Track and report on project progress, success metrics, and realized benefits to the Transformation Office Use data analytics tools to collect and analyze performance metrics for process evaluation and to inform decision-making and highlight improvement opportunities Build strong relationships with stakeholders to gain buy-in for process optimization initiatives Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather input and foster collaboration and act as a liaison between the Transformation Office and departmental teams to ensure alignmentQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field 4 years of experience in process analysis, business improvement, or a related role Proven experience in delivering process optimization projects with measurable outcomes Strong understanding of airport operations, including passenger processing, baggage handling, and airside activities is an asset Lean Six Sigma and/or Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) are assets Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as IATA and ICAO and a strong understanding of airport operations are assets Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security ClearanceThe expertise and skills you bring to excel in this role:
