Contractor Assignment: Senior CSV Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) Engineer 1

We are looking for a Senior Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) Process Equipment USP who is experienced, meticulous, and collaborative  to join us as a contractor in our Genesis team, based in our campus site of Braine l’Alleud.

 

About the role

As a Senior C&Q Process Equipment USP contractor for UCB, you will lead the C&Q portion of the project to ensure that C&Q activities are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with system requirements, specifications, and project procedures.

 

 

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in an integrated team, collaborating closely with suppliers, IT SMEs, compliance teams, and the rest of the UCB team to ensure successful CSV C&Q activities from design to field execution and summary report approval.

 

What you’ll do

You will draft or coordinate the drafting, review, and approval of C&Q documents.You will provide guidance and manage all C&Q activities for the systems in question.You will handle verification testing, protocol execution, inspections, and troubleshooting.You will plan, track, and report the status and risks of C&Q activities.You will be responsible for the acceptance of equipment/systems from the construction team.You will generate and/or review change controls related to C&Q and ensure their timely closure.Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills5+ years of hands-on experience with this equipment in international CAPEX C&Q projects.Technical qualification at a higher level or equivalent in engineering.Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in delivering C&Q for pharmaceutical/biotechnology projects.Strong understanding of a risk-based approach to C&Q within the biotechnology industry.Experience with post-OQ activities and single-use equipment in the biopharmaceutical industry.Ability to make decisions under pressure and demonstrated strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
