Contractor Outreach Specialist

Contractor Outreach Specialist

Gordian is seeking a Contractor Outreach Specialist to recruit, educate, and grow our construction partners who participate in Job Order Contracting (JOC). You’ll be instrumental in creating valuable contractor relationships by leading contractor outreach, recruiting contractors, and building awareness about Gordian and the value we deliver. This role is remote, and we’re looking for candidates to join our fast-growing team immediately!

Responsibilities: Lead all contractor outreach activities in your assigned territory, including target list development, publicize upcoming bid opportunities, execute calls and emails, lead contractor info sessions (virtual and live). Communicate responsibilities and manage cross functional participation during contractor outreach Generate interest from contractors to drive new contractor acquisition and retention. Expand our contractor outreach network through research and internal collaboration.  Maintain current and prospective contractor information within Salesforce.com. Manage a comprehensive schedule of respective bid opportunities and strategically plan outreach. Coordinate and lead educational sessions, exploring innovative engagement strategies to captivate contractors, moving beyond traditional webinars and training sessions. Engage contractors using phone, email and other channels to educate contractors on upcoming bid opportunities, convey JOC benefits and build contractor knowledge and advocacy for the JOC procurement method. Track critical KPIs and facilitate problem solving processes when necessary. Find ways to optimize outreach efficiency and seek opportunities to improve our standard work for contractor outreach to effectively communicate our value proposition and generate more opportunities. Use Fortive Business Systems (FBS) tools to drive improvement. Qualifications: Customer obsessed, proactive, and easily adaptable. Proven ability to deliver results - keeping commitments and meeting deadlines.  Construction industry experience and/or knowledge, particularly as a general contractor or subcontractor is beneficial.  Organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, catering to our contractor audience. Empathy for contractors with a passion for simplifying complexities they face. Ability to problem solve and innovate to meet contractors’ unique and evolving needs. Proficient with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. Salesloft and Smartsheet experience are a plus.  Business Development experience is a plus Ability to travel up to 40%.
