We are seeking to increase our team of assessors who conduct several types of vocational assessments of people with disability in employment, for the National Panel of Assessors (NPA).

 

Locations:

GawlerAdelaide (Western, Eastern and North Adelaide)The opportunity

These Contracting roles are as work demands and well suited to work in with your business, other part time work or contracting services. Flexible availability is required to suit the needs of those you are assessing; 2 plus days per week is recommended.

 

Training and accreditation in the assessment tools will be provided.  An induction, ongoing professional development and support will also be provided.

About youDiploma or higher level qualification in a field of relevance such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, psychology, or other allied health or disability servicesMinimum 2 years' practical experience in disability employment or related sectorsGood assessment and report writing skillsSound computer skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders including the client and employersThe Program

Ongoing Support Assessments (OSAs) are used to determine the appropriate level of ongoing support that a participant needs to maintain their employment.  The purposes of a Supported Wage System (SWS) Assessment is to determine the productivity of a person with disability working in the open labour market.
