Job Description
This position is essential to supporting the execution of contracts with customers and ensuring compliance with all requirements and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the administration of contracts, including preparation, execution, and compliance.Ensure all contracts are in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and government regulations.Prepare and review basic contract documents, amendments, and modifications.Facilitate the distribution of required contract documents, amendments, and modifications.Ensure billing schedules remain current and assist with invoice submissions.Support Contract Administrators in managing documentation and records.Conduct preliminary risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies.Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and government agencies as necessary to facilitate contract execution.Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact contract management.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience in contract administration or general business or contract-related field within the defense industry.Basic understanding of contract principles, Uniform Commercial Code, and FARS/DFARS.Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with government contracts is a significant advantage.Highly related industry preferred, particularly in companies operating under extensive government oversight.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a team environment.US Citizenship at the time of hire is required, dual citizenship is not permitted.Work Environment
The position involves an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday on the first shift. The dress code is business casual.
