**Job ID: 111314** The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world. **Job Summary** Join our Danbury, CT team as a Contracts Administrator supporting contracts initiatives for a variety of customers and suppliers including the government. **What You Will Do** + Administer and monitor contract performance on government contracts + May assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures + Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments/modifications and incorporating changes + Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions + Respond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions + Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions + Conduct fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collections + Prepare proposals for customer requirements + Prepare and analyze moderately complex price proposals + Participate in TINA implementation/sweeps + Negotiate standard terms and conditions **Education & Experience Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience. + Familiarity in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and government contracting processes (sole source, competitive procurements). + Proficient in contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ) and their appropriate applications. + Strong knowledge of intellectual property/software rights clauses and IP marking guidelines. + Skilled in cost/price analysis, source selection, and evaluation processes. + Experienced in government property administration and contract administration (flow downs, change management, payment, close-out). + Proficient in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, subcontracts, and agreements. + Effective verbal and written communication skills; experienced in contract briefings and negotiations. + Familiar with monitoring high-value contracts/subcontracts. + NCMA membership and CPCM certification preferred. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. _Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
