About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team and play a critical role in managing contracting processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role is integral to maintaining seamless contract administration and fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and enhance contract templates and contracting processes used by the business. Review contracts, including supply and installation works subcontracts, and collaborate with the in-house legal team to ensure alignment with business trading positions, identify risks, and support negotiations where needed. Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and ensure smooth communication across internal teams and external partners. Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents, ensuring easy retrieval and reference. Assist with relevant contractual notices and requirements throughout the duration of contracts. Provide general assistance to the legal function, including matters related to contract disputes. Prepare reports on contract status, highlight issues or opportunities, and ensure contracts comply with legal and business requirements. Conduct contract administration-related training for employees and contribute to the development of systems that enhance efficiency in contract management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Previous experience reviewing and/or negotiating high-value commercial contracts. Familiarity with core contract law concepts and processes. Experience in the construction or building sector is highly valued. A degree qualification or relevant working experience. A professional certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager, Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) would be an advantage. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain contractual issues and risks to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to foster strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams. Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to contract administration. Confident in delivering reports and training sessions to various stakeholders.
