Allied Universal® is hiring a Contracts Administrator - Federal. The Contracts Administrator is responsible for analyzing federal contracts, task orders, and modifications ensuring company compliance with relevant government laws and regulations. The Contracts Administrator reviews federal contracts for accuracy, maintains documentation, and liaises between the client stakeholders and our Government Services Team regarding contractual terms, modifications, invoicing, and performance requirements. Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process contract awards, task orders and modificationsEnsure all internal stakeholders are aware of contract changes and ensure appropriate actions are taken; review and edit work product of others and reroute tasks as needed to ensure compliance within required deadlinesLiaise with team to ensure funding and invoicing are accurateAct as a liaison between company and internal clients; communicate and coordinate between contracts team and internal clients to address outside customers’ requestsAssist company personnel with contract and solicitation requirementsPrepare required documents; order certificates of insurance and various types of bonds; daily maintenance of all contract management files; maintain all subcontractor files and related documents; maintain and catalog storage filesAssist with personnel credentialing and compliance- to include electronic personnel file maintenance, TAMS administration, WinTeam compliance tracking, and maintenance of certification matrices, where necessaryCoordinate externally with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officers RepresentativesConduct routine internal audits to ensure compliance with contract T&C, SCA, FAR, and other regulatory and statutory requirements as applicable. Assist with maintenance of System for Award Management (SAM) database for entities within the organization; develop and implement improvement measuresAssist with maintenance of System for Award Management (SAM) database for entities within the organizationEnsure all contractual deadlines and conditions are being met; delegate tasks as necessaryAssist with distribution, filing, and general review of union collective bargaining agreements (CBA) for federal contractsCommunicate with subcontractor to ensure understanding and compliance of changes made to contracts, task orders, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and servicesProvides administrative assistance as needed with team special projectsQUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess one or more of the following:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related fieldAssociate’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of government contracting compliance experienceHigh School diploma with a minimum of seven (7) years of government contracting compliance experienceActive Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred)Minimum of three (3) years of personnel and program management experienceMinimum of three (3) years of experience within military, law enforcement or security fieldsExperience reading, understanding, and implementing government contracts and contract provisionsDemonstrated ability to take initiative; successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesHighly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technologyProfessional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretionOutstanding oral and written communication skillsAbility to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team playerDemonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlinesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience working in the government sector as a Contracting Officer, Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer RepresentativeBENEFITS:
