HX5 is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in on-site in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in support of the contracts department. 

Summary

This position is responsible for the administration of contracts and subcontracts. Provides support to office personnel as needed. Responsibilities will include, assisting with the coordination, distribution, and monitoring of contract and subcontract action items. Performs a variety of complex tasks and advises internal departments regarding contract requirements. Position assists in preparation of contract and subcontract documentation and contract and subcontract closeouts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Reviews contracts and subcontracts for compliance. Research contract issues and monitors contract performance versus contract requirements. Maintains and updates contract and contractor status databases. Maintains electronic contract files in accordance with Corporate and Government regulations. Works under the direct supervision of senior contract personnel. May assist in the performance of contract close-outs.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government contracts, federal clauses, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
