Our Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract closeout activities, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide and ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. You will be a member of the program management team, supporting program success and new growth opportunities across the portfolio.
Your Role and Impact:
Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues. Build customer intimacy despite geographical separation as well as be able to effectively cultivate those relationshipsMonitor contract and associated program to ensure that contractual obligations are communicated and understoodParticipate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specificationsWork under limited supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programsEnsure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical informationReview terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and all other potential risk areas and recommend risk mitigation strategiesOther duties as assignedWhy You? Your Expertise – Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeExperience that includes contracts, proposals or business managementKnowledges of FAR/DFAR requirementsKnowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee or Cost-Plus Award FeeAbility to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed, per business needMust have an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance that has been maintained within the past two years – OR - must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, and Special Access Program (SAP) prior to startYour Preferred Edge:

Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
