Contracts Administrator Sr. Advisor

Our work depends on Contracts Administrator Sr. Advisor joining our team to support the fast paced growing portfolio of a very diverse suite of federal civilian agencies of our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering complex IT contracts and task orders; have expertise in risk and OCI assessments; have an ability to apply strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks, as well as identifying and analyzing complex contract matters. This position requires a clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.
HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR. ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Ensures contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectivesWork with programs to help identify scope creep and changesNegotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution.Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problemsReviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviewsReviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customersReviews and negotiates various types of agreements Interprets contractual work requirements and obligationsMakes recommendations regarding contract implementationMaintains knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practicesParticipates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of degree, 14+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.Required Experience: 10+ years of related Contracts Administration experienceRequired Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Security Clearance Level: NoneRequired Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as, advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types. Experience supporting award-term contracts. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Ability to operate and negotiate independently.Location: This is a hybrid role working at either of our GDIT Facility located in Falls Church, VA or Huntsville, AL. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.US Persons required.
