Job Description

The Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders throughout Visa to develop and manage legally binding agreements and contracts based on approved financial proposals. This role supports client-facing organizations (e.g., Financial Institution Sales, Merchant Sales, Products, Marketing, Processing) and works closely with Finance, Legal, Operations Support, Compliance, and others. The individual understands marketplace dynamics, assesses business implications, anticipates stakeholder needs, raises issues to management, and recommends appropriate actions to address potential roadblocks and achieve department goals.

 

Responsibilities include enforcing procedural compliance, providing quality control of outgoing communications to Sales and other stakeholders, providing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports to key stakeholders, and conducting the regional trainings for Sales. Additionally, the Analyst will continue to manage/coordinate the various types of contracts for a particular region.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (requiring 3+ years in the legal field)
•Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment is essential
•Extensive experience in drafting contracts in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (plus)
•Proficient in preparing and drafting agreements and amendments, with the capability to manage multiple contract work queues
•Ability to collaborate effectively with management and leaders (stakeholders) across various functions within Visa
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrates strong performance under pressure and tight deadlines
•Meticulous attention to detail and adept at multi-tasking
•Proven track record of working independently
•Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
•Use of Microsoft business tools, DocuSign, etc.
