Contract & Claims Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education opportunities.The work model for the role is: HybridProvide administrative support for the contracts department •\tAssist with file maintenance and recordkeeping •\tResponsible for mailing out all contract’s correspondence •\tAssist with the migration of existing documents into a Document Management System •\tAssist with the follow-up to claim processes, from the Procurement & Logistics Department as well as from the different projects.•\tAssists in preparation of contract documents, attending meetings with the manager,•\tMaintain an organized contract filing system.•\tCoordinate with various departments involved in contract processes.•\tEnsure the timely preparation and issuance of contractual documents and email responses.•\tAny other activity required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments. •\tWorks closely with Contract Manager with the preparation and review process of contracts for completeness and accuracy and follow-up with Project Managers to ensure compliance of program requirements
Qualifications for the roleQualifications\tCurrently in the final years of a Law degree.\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\tExcellent analytical and organizational skills.\tHigh level of attention to detail.\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
