The Contracts & Negotiation Manager for Cytiva is responsible drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
This position is part of the Cytiva Commercial Contract Team located in Milan Italy and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
+ Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements, such as sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, contract renewals, and customer etc.
+ Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies; solicit buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders
+ Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions and best practices; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools
+ Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives
+ Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
+ Provide training, mentorship, and 2nd-tier support to other contracts team members
+ Who you are:
+ Possess a law degree
+ Have 5+ years’ experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements
+ Have 5+ years’ experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement
+ Demonstrable experience (i) using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions, and (ii) prioritizing competing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
+ Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail; English language fluency is a must. Other languages are a plus.

+ Ability to travel – list specifics10 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations
+ It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ BioTechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
+ Experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC-based contract lifecycle management system
