RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Leads day-to-day contract lifecycle performance; including creation, draftingreview, negotiation, approval, execution, and compliance of various contract types requested by various business unit stakeholders .
+ Oversees the timely administration of consistent retention and disposition of contract and other records. This includes management of physical records stored at various company locations or Iron Mountain, and management of digital records stored on SharePoint and on shared drives.
+ Develops and maintains policies, procedures, processes, communication, and training related to Contract Administration and Records Management.
+ Communicates with operational and functional areas and stakeholders on contracts and records concerns and needs while advising on policies, procedures, and training materials.
+ Performs frequent periodicreporting and audit reviews, including internal and Sarbanes Oxley controls, for contracts, records, and process compliance.
+ Initiates, leads and directs departmental projects, key performance metrics, and goals, including analysis and process efficiency initiatives and improvements. Also monitor and manage stakeholder requests regarding document pulls, data cleanup/changes, contract term analysis, and others.
+ Ownership of contract management systems including Quorum Contract Management ‘QCM’, Contract Request Management System ‘CRMS’ and the Contract and Compliance SharePoint sites. Ownership activities include system enhancement or upgrade coordination, along with testing, security reviews and access approvals , usually done in coordination with the IT application/product team. Experience with large CMS upgrades and migrations and resulting new process formulation and implementation desired. .
+ Maintains an effective team , focusing on speed and accuracy of processing and compliance with policies and established processes, through proper training, development, succession planning, performance reviews and input to workload assignment of personnel.
+ Develops and maintain senior level business relationships; communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; JD, MBA, CPCM, CRM or CCCM preferred.
+ Five (5) plus years experience in Contracts Management required.
+ Experience with Contract Management systems required; experience with Quorum applications, SharePoint repositories, SAP CLM highly desired.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Leadership experience strongly preferred.
+ Experience in the Oil and Gas Energy Industry required; Midstream preferred.
+ Ten (10) plus years experience in Contracts Management preferred.
+ Knowledge of legal terms and conditions across a variety of contract types (commercial agreements, construction contracts, NDAs, settlement agreements, M&A agreements, etc.) requirements and acumen as it affects or relates to contract terms, records management, and terminology.
