Our Strategic Clinical Partnering team, is looking for a working student, to join our team, in the Monheim office Germany.
About the role
This position is an opportunity for a diligent self-starter to learn from and support the UCB Strategic Clinical Partnering team as well as gain insight into the research and development processes of a globally operating pharmaceutical company for a duration of 12 months (please include the preferred time period in your application).
Who you’ll work with
The working student will be part of the Strategic Clinical Partnering team who is responsible for the strategic outsourcing and contracting of clinical development activities, as well as for the partnering with Clinical Research Organizations (CRO) and preferred providers specificized in clinical development services.
What you’ll do
During the internship, your main tasks will consist of archiving clinical trial contracts on the one hand and checking the trial master file (TMF) for completeness on the other hand. You will have the opportunity to work on your tasks independently and be accountable for tasks such as:
enter contracts metadata in a contracts databaseconsolidate created contract QR code with hard copy contract and ship to archivequality-check and review study specific pdf contracts on filecoordinate the review of contract lists by internal/external stakeholders responsible for the contracting to confirm completeness; follow-up until completion and ensure the checks are adequately documented.

We are looking for a motivated student who shows a high degree of proactivity and the ability to work in a team. Basic knowledge in the use of Office programs as well as high accuracy in processing information in communications and data trackers is a prerequisite. A good command of written and spoken English is also required.
The educational level for this role requires a Bachelor's Degree or at least a High School Diploma.
Following experience would be an advantage:
Experience in a secretarial, administrative, book-keeping, or similar business role.Experience in managing and tracking complex documentation in a regulated environment.Experience dealing with legal or paralegal documentation.
