About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Contract Hub Head that will be responsible for heading up 2 CUs (Customer Unit), contract managers teams alongside managing customer accounts, contract negotiations from pre-sale to post sale.
The role will require senior expertise in drafting contractual commercial terms and conditions, will be an expert in how to capture drive and extract value from the contracts and be a solid negotiator. The candidate should have solid expertise in drafting terms and conditions, commercial business modelling conditions, software license and as a services condition’s expertise as well as the capability in influencing stakeholder internally and managing customers.
The role will require leading, managing a team of contract managers that will be allocated to the 2 Customer Units support business execution contract management activities. In addition, the Contract Hub Head will be responsible for performance management, opex management, strategic alignment of priorities and contract management support across the Customer Units.
This is a leadership position reporting into the MMEA Head of Contract Management and will require strong communication skill, presenting solutions, planning, execution, and hands on customer negotiation in key strategic contract negotiations
What you will do:
Work closely with the MMEA Head of Contract Management on functional priorities, strategic program execution global and local driven, standardization of processes and data driven analytics.Lead the team of contract managers allocated with management of opex, mentoring, coaching, upskilling, competence mapping, performance management and allocation to meet the Customer Unit and MA business requirements.Ensure a culture of compliance and ethics with speak up and collaboration with all team members across the function.Develop implement good ways of working with legal, domains, sales, business control and all other functions including the BA in the sales process and otherwise.Work with the core 3 team in the sales engagement phase together with solution and fulfilment team to define the contract strategy aligned business case & commercial conditions.Manage personally key strategic customer accounts by securing right terms and conditions including compliance to company policies, sales directives during the sales process of new deals and existing contract lifecycle.Ensure strict contractual scope is established to protect against any profit leakage through scope creep with management against volume discount, price incentives or vouchers and this is uniformed across all contracts.Endorse, lead the contract strategy and negotiation in each opportunity of significant value and risk. Negotiate and resolve commercial disputes and settlements relating to the contracted scope with a strong governance and planning internal and then externally with customer defending with strong exclusions management & negotiation tactics.Provide contract knowledge, guidance, and assistance on interpretation of contractual clauses.Provide internal guidance on mitigation claims and resolve any critical issues via commercial governance. Develop with the product and service owners’ strong robust commercial models and the associate terms & conditions with a sale driven approach with value argumentation.Maintain knowledge of operational issues which could result in commercial disputes. Develop and drive the planning and execution of contract governance and adherence to it by managing contract risk, change control, managing claims & disputes and initiating contract variations when needed in collaboration stakeholders.Advise operational teams on commercial risk mitigation strategies.Protect Ericsson's rights under contract and ensure the proper performance of the respective party’s obligations.Defend and improve profitability and working capital via professional risk- and claim management.Monitor and follow-up execution of the contract with knowledge share sessions within the account team sharing the latest contractual commitments and position overall from financial, delivery & performance and risks.The Skills you bring:
8 or more years of contract management or other comparable experience such as account management or finance.Strong communication skills both written and verbal, ability to drive, influence stakeholders internally and externally.Experience and expertise in negotiating leading complex contract negotiations with a super sharp eye on all terms & conditions including the commercial business case, operational, execution with ability to identify risks and priorities negotiation approach.You should be assertive, thought leader, critical thinker, and an execution leader with hands on approach.Experience in banking and/or financial services sector with knowledge of financial regulatory requirements is desirable.Strong contract drafting skills and negotiation skills with the ability to find solutions in both an internal and external environment.Graduate degree in relevant discipline such as law/business administration/finance/engineering etc. is minimum Excellent commercial and financial understandingAwareness of contractual and business lawCustomer interface and negotiation experienceAble to take decision to drive results Risk and claim management experienceExcellent communication and relationship development skillsTenacious, determined, and self-managingAttention to detail!IACCM certified or equivalent is a plus! Certification (to be renewed on an ongoing basis for validity) in Contract Management, from a globally recognized institution
