You will be the Contracts Management Sr. Manager, serving as a key interface between internal and external stakeholders. Our team is responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive successful contract management and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Contracts professionals, providing guidance and oversight, and developing business strategies that align with organizational goals. You will also be responsible for proposing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts that support production, development, and sustainment tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing leadership and guidance to a team of Contracts professionals
• Developing and executing business strategies in collaboration with F&BO and Program Senior Leadership
• Proposing, negotiating, and administering production, development, and sustainment contracts
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful contract execution
• Developing and maintaining relationships with external customers and stakeholders
• Providing expert advice and guidance on contract management best practices
• Overseeing contract administration, including contract interpretation, compliance, and risk management

Basic Qualifications:
*Demonstrated ability to provide quality leadership to the program Contracts teams and customer sets
Partnerships with F&BO program and functional leadership in developing and implement strategy relating to delivering results, building effective relationships, with a focus on talent development.
*Contract management and negotiation experience for total program life cycle, including development, production and post-production contract types.
*Strong presentation and written communication skills.
*Ability to develop solutions to complex business problems in a fast paced customer focused
environment
*Strong positive customer relations track record.
*Achievement of financial commitments (orders, sales,
profit and cash) through the contract/ proposal management process
Desired Skills:
*Ability to drive the business through strategic thinking and partnering with internal stakeholders and external customers.
*Ability to successfully manage a multitude of concurrent complex tasks.
*Knowledge and experience in structuring and managing contract vehicles for production, development and sustainment efforts. Demonstrates quality leadership attributes
*Experience delivering results while building customer relationships in a demanding fast paced, high volume
environment
*Proven ability in developing and leading high functioning contracts teams
*Experience working within a Missile or Space product portfolio

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
