We are seeking a highly skilled contracts professional to join our team in supporting the C-130 Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Aero LOB. The selected individual will perform a wide range of contracts management functions, from capture through proposal, contract award, and contract administration, in support of both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Preparation and Coordination
• Review and evaluate customer Requests for Proposal (RFP) for new business efforts and/or modifications to existing contracts
• Provide contractual recommendations, conduct risk assessments, and create mitigation plans
• Propose alternative approaches to contract execution through contract language revisions
• Coordinate proposal generation and submission, collaborating with other functional areas to investigate and reconcile significant contract changes
Contract Management and Negotiations
• Collaborate with functional organizations and customers to ensure conformance with contractual obligations
• Develop and apply advanced contractual concepts, techniques, and standards to assigned duties
• Develop and apply innovative solutions to complex problems
• Continuously evaluate and oversee contract performance
• Foster enduring relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate timely and transparent communications
• Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations
Contract Closeout
• Initiate closeout activities as required by terms and conditions to ensure timely contract closure
• Create contract closeout schedules and coordinate with functional areas to drive closure of administrative tasks
Travel Requirements
• Domestic and international travel (approximately 25%) to support the mission
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in reviewing and drafting terms
and conditions.
• Experience with USG Contracts (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, contract administration, and close-out
• First-hand negotiation experience
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired Skills:
• Experience with the Aero Proposal Tool Suite (APTS)
• Experience in reviewing and drafting international terms and conditions (acceptance, intellectual property, warranty, liquidated damages & penalties, limitation of liability) which minimize risk and maximize return on sales
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
• Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and customers
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract
• Ability to make effective presentations to executive
leadership

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
