Contracts Manager
Description We are in the market for a Contracts Manager to join our team based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. This role is crucial in supporting business operations to run seamlessly and effectively. This involves tasks ranging from managing contract renewals and trademark management to executing new licensing deals and ensuring data privacy compliance. Responsibilities: • Oversee contract management, which includes execution, renewal, and termination across various departments • Assist with renewals and onboarding of new brands for our licensing program • Ensure compliance with licensing across all our digital platforms • Collaborate with our external legal team on trademark submissions and renewals for our brands • Maintain compliance with federal/state laws and legislation concerning subscription services, data and privacy • Support the new employee integration process to ensure a positive experience for new team members • Research, recommend, and manage third-party vendors that enhance efficiency, organization, and process within the organization • Manage the purchase and renewal of domains for our brands • Coordinate business due diligence when required. Requirements • Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts • Extensive experience with commercial contracts and vendor agreements • Strong understanding of legal contracts and their implications • Ability to handle contract administration tasks efficiently • Proven expertise in contract management and ensuring compliance with contract terms • Skilled in redlining contracts to highlight areas of concern or dispute • Experience with vendor contracts, including negotiation and enforcement • Capable of managing customer contracts and addressing any issues that arise • Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret contract terms accurately • Excellent skills in contract negotiation and resolution of contract disputes • Proven track record of effectively managing contract renewals and terminations • Experience with contract lifecycle management software and tools.
