**Position Description:**
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our CGI team in Sacramento, CA! Seeking leadership traits with the primary objective of managing a large outsourcing contract and the project financials. This full-time career opportunity will be client facing and will work closely with the PMO.

This position is located in our Sacramento, CA office with work performed at the client site in Sacramento, CA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable (within the Greater Sacramento area). You will be required to be at the client site and/or our Sacramento, CA office 3 days per week.

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
**How you'll make an impact**
• Monitoring and administering the Contract and any amendments
• Preparing, tracking, and submitting invoices to the Project Office for review, approval, and payment
• Managing and tracking of project Contract costs
• Working closely with PMO Manager and Requirements Manager on contractual requirement adherence and validations
• Working with the client and workstream leads to oversee that contractual obligations are successfully fulfilled, advising the larger team
• Responding to questions regarding contractual commitments and coordinating as necessary
• Tactical problem solving and negotiating to reach consensus with the client
• Coordinating assignments, creating and managing project IDs and accurate timekeeping with workstream leads
• Maintaining the invoicing schedule and managing the accurate and timely invoicing process, including collections follow-up with client counterparts
• Reviewing third-party supplier and subcontractor invoices
• Contributing to project change requests and ensuring contractual and financial terms and estimates
• Assisting project director and finance team with contractual and financial activities, such as monthly forecasts and contract renewals
• Educating and mentoring team members
• Contributing to new business development, including proposal writing and sales demos
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
**What you'll bring**
• 8 to 9 years of Contracts Manager experience
• Leadership experience with a large (e.g. 50+ people) and diverse team
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with and coaching staff
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to evaluate, select and act on various methods and strategies for solving problems and meeting objectives
• Ability to manage multiple high priority demands, able to adapt to new situations with innovative ideas or approaches
Minimum qualifications per the program:
The Contract Manager shall have at least four (4) years of experience within the past fifteen (15) years, as a Contract Manager on projects that:
• Large software development projects.
• Involved systems that were accessed by at least one thousand (1,000) end users at multiple locations.
• Had a system value of at least ten million ($10,000,000) dollars.
Desired Qualifications/Non-Essential Skills:
Additional, optional expertise desired in a successful candidate includes experience with:
• Managing contracts for large, government IT outsourcing projects
• Managing project financials for large, government IT outsourcing projects
• Implementing projects for social services
• Client relationship management
• Experience being part of a business development team pursuing enterprise opportunities

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $86,200 - $150,800."
