CONTRACTS SPECIALIST
The North America Customer Contracts Operations team provides end-to-end operational support throughout the lifecycle of our direct contracts, from initial customer engagement through to contract closeout. We add value to the business relationship between the customer and HP by delivering professional contract management while maintaining high levels of compliance and customer satisfaction. With operational excellence we support HP’s sales teams and assist in facilitating the sales process for our clients and customers.
We are looking for a self-motivated person who is capable of both providing contracts administration support on HP’s largest SLED contracts, and capable of completing customer operational requirements within a specific timeframe while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a virtual team, the Contracts Specialist’s primary responsibilities are:
Managing existing contracts to ensure compliance with all customer contractual obligations.Onboarding new contractsCompleting required customer vendor forms and supplying regulatory documents as requested.Ensuring that HP sales contracts are managed in accordance with HP’s internal contract compliance requirements. Following detailed process documents and updating activity logs on a timely basis.Manage contract renewals and addendums.Review customer RFPs and provide operational support to the proposal response process.Qualifications:
Mandatory requirements. The successful candidate must:
Currently be at a Specialist level or higher, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in HP sales operations, contracts management or a related field.Be able to manage large volumes of sales data and apply automation tools to more efficiently manage the data.Possess intermediate skill level on M/S Excel.Be detail orientated, with a high degree of accuracy and strong analytical capabilities.Have strong oral and written English communication skills. Be able to read and understand contract and terms and conditions.Be able to read and follow detailed written process documents.Be able to work independently as part of a virtual team. Be able to manage aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced selling environment. Have sound business judgement and decision-making skills.In addition to the Mandatory Requirements, candidates with any of the following skills will receive strong consideration:
Has had prior experience working in a contracts management or contracts administrative position.Is adept in the use of advance Microsoft features such as SharePoint design, manipulation of data in Access, or creation of macros in Excel.
