This role is part of the Chief Control Office (CCO) within Digital Business Service (DBS). The Chief Control Office is part of the 1st Line of Defence. It oversees the holistic end-to-end health of the control environment; provides a forward-looking view on risk and controls; drives effective design and implementation of controls; and monitors, advises and challenges control owners on how they are managing their risk. It seeks to apply innovative and forward-thinking solutions to risk management in the first line, helping control owners to proactively manage their risks.
Main Activities:
This role is within the Global Payments Services Operations (GPS OPS) CCO team in Mexico with responsibility of supporting Americas Region.The core focus of the role is supporting, advising, and challenging the management of Operations to ensure that their risks are understood and well controlled. The role includes analysing the performance of the control environment, performing deep dive thematic reviews to identify weaknesses, and designing new or modified controls to remediate these weaknesses.This role is part of the global GPSO CCO team executing an agenda that is composed of a blend of global, regional and country priorities. The role is based in GSC Mexico and hence will have an emphasis on the most of the regions supported by GSC Mexico – however the remit will include driving and coordinating the delivery of priorities across the global footprint of GPS OPS Similarly, the role holder will be expected on occasion to work outside of the GPS Operations domain and/or outside of the region to support the execution of the broader CCO agenda.
