Description We are looking for a high level Control M resource to join their team for a contract. We are stretching control M into different parts of their environment. We need someone who can come in and look at Control M as a whole and provide thought leadership. We're looking for a resource with experience modernizing & stretching their Control M platform in new directions throughout the organization. 40%-50% of this person's day will be working with IT and non IT end users to upskill them for utilizing control m. They will be building documentation - training/upskilling end users - customizing/building plug ins using App integrators. Evaluate Control M implementations Revaluate current Control M practices Learn how users interact with their specific applications & create documentation Main goal is to stretch Control M into the Azure environment. They will eventually have this person educate them on how to use the data they uncover and how to best use the data. They currently have 9000 jobs, and on average per night it is about 4000. Distributed environment is across 4 different servers. This role can be fully remote. However, they would ideally like a local candidate that would be able to come on site to West Bend, WI or Madison, WI. Below are some additional experiences that would be valuable for candidates to have. ■ Monitored four regions of Control M for twenty plus clients ■ Coordinated issues with all areas of the business to troubleshoot system failures ■ Created detailed documentation for offshore so they could properly execute Control M tasks ■ Executed and scheduled Control M jobs as per business requirements ■ Used IBM Mainframe using FTP to troubleshoot and run jobs manually ■ Provided solutions to the business on how Control M could solve issues with file efficiency ■ Consulted with BMC on how we could improve our Control M set up and design. ■ Administered Control M access for users at all levels ■ Attended trainings and seminars with BMC to stay informed on latest updates and solutions ■ Worked with IBM Management to consult on hardware and software improvements and issues ■ Managed AIX system access for all users ■ Drafted business requirements for Control M code changes for financial clients ■ Manipulated Control M job parameters “on the fly” in order to mitigate impacts of system issues Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
