Job Summary:
As a Control Manager in the Commercial Banking Business Operations team, you will ensure a disciplined control environment, evaluate control design and performance, and serve as a key contact for risk assessments and issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational risk management and drive impactful change.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure a sustainable control environment, validate control designs, and address issues promptly. Conduct in-depth analysis of processes, identify risks, and support corrective action plans. Establish control governance, report on operational risk metrics, and escalate control breaks. Act as a lead contact for audits and control evaluations. Perform reviews and testing to ensure effective controls and proactive risk culture. Facilitate strong connectivity across teams. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in controls, audit, or risk management. 3+ years of Commercial Banking experience. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills. Ability to design and implement effective action plans. Excellent attention to detail and timely resolution skills.
