Control Panel Builder role responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels for industrial automation and manufacturing equipment.
Job Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and BOMs
Experience assembling electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures
Ability to route and install wiring, cables, terminal blocks, relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, power supplies, and related components
Proficiency in cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires according to standards (e.g., UL 508A, NEC)
Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and codes (UL, NEC, OSHA)
Preferred Skills:
Experience building panels for industrial automation and manufacturing equipment
Familiarity with labeling standards and best practices for neat and organized panel layouts
Experience documenting test results and maintaining quality records
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures following blueprints and layout diagrams
Mount and label devices to ensure clean, organized, and serviceable panel layouts
Perform point-to-point continuity checks and functional testing of completed panels
Verify correct wiring, component installation, and safety compliance prior to release
Identify and resolve wiring errors or component issues during build and test
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production supervisors to ensure panels meet specifications
Provide technical feedback to improve panel designs, build processes, and efficiency
Follow electrical safety practices, OSHA requirements, and internal procedures
Ensure build processes comply with UL, NEC, and company standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
