Our client, a major Oil & Gas company is seeking a Lease Operator to work within their facilities located in Spring, TX for a 12-month contract (possible to extend). Rotational work 14/14.
Daily Operations & Safety Implement daily work objectives focusing on safety, housekeeping, health, and environmental practices. Actively participate in daily toolbox and safety meetings. Perform ongoing surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operations. Report alarms and shutdowns, maintain accurate shift reports, and coordinate with Operations Shift Supervisor for activity updates. Maintenance & Equipment Care Conduct simple maintenance tasks as an Equipment Care Technician. Coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs based on corrective, predictive, and preventive planning. Record operational events and report deviations in logbooks. Well Operations Support Conduct product sampling for lab analysis and field tests. Diagnose well issues and ensure well and surface equipment are well-maintained for intervention operations. Assist ongoing Wellwork operations as needed. Emergency & Incident Management Participate in emergency response activities and report incidents as per Incident Reporting Guidelines. Dispatch service providers during critical events and communicate SCADA alarms using electronic systems. Communication & Coordination Communicate critical events and coordinate with field personnel to maximize production rates. Provide detailed handovers at shift changes to maintain operational continuity. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Completed secondary education; prior experience as a Field Technician. Experience: 2+ years in O&G control room/field operations (Pipeline, SWDs, Reuse), I&E field tech or lease operator. Technical Skills: Proficient in SCADA, Call Systems, Seek, Citrix, Excel, PowerBI, Zoom, RDC. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and team coordination skills. Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills, quick decision-making under pressure. Flexibility: Able to work 14/14 rotational, 12 hours shift, days or nights.
