Control Sales Specialist
TITLE: Control Sales Specialist DEPARTMENT: Industrial/OEM Sales REPORTS TO: VP of Sales TERRITORY: Buffalo, Syracuse, Auburn, Rochester, Albany SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Promotion and sales activities for specifically assigned products from the Power-Flo Technologies line card. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Knowledge of PFT Products and services for which the position is responsible + Customer sales activities to include product demonstrations, competitive cross references, quotations, set up and administer pricing contracts, input to PFT for customer inventory requirements. + Basic knowledge of PFT vendor’s product offerings to be able to identify additional sales opportunities + Minimum 15 Sales Calls per week + Monthly expense reporting, weekly Sales Call Reporting and Sales Call Planning + Work with PFT Account Managers to target and close customers and project opportunities + Establish and maintain a frequency of sales calls in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and the Southern Tier, whether on your own or with the assigned Account Manager. Communicate the schedule to the Account Managers in those territories for their input and participation as necessary + Cultivate strong business relationships with all PFT vendor salespeople for assistance in product sales efforts and sales growth + Develop contact database for the purpose of growing a strong and accurate mailing list for further marketing by PFT + Attend vendor product training classes as required by PFT sales management and/or PFT vendor programs + Utilization of PFT and Vendor resources for account penetration and sales growth + Schedule and execute monthly product seminars to introduce new products and technologies. + Some overnight travel is required (territory covers between Buffalo and Albany) ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS + Vice President, Industrial/OEM sales + Account Managers + Inside Sales + Customer Service + Application Engineering + Purchasing EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: + 2- or 4-Year College Degree, Technical or Engineering preferred + Business to Business sales experience + Knowledge and use of a PC PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Ability to Operate a Motor Vehicle + Valid and Clean NYS Driver’s License Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, the following: + Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance + 401(k) + PTO Program and Paid Holidays About Us We are an equal opportunity employer.
