Job Responsibilities:

Manages accounting activities at Autosystems, including maintaining the chart of accounts and interfacing and posting the general ledgerLeads month end closing processingPerforms weekly / monthly Scrap & Efficiency reporting and inventory reconciliationCompletes weekly expense tracking and forecasting, accounts payable/receivable forecasting, and assists in the weekly/monthly/quarterly budget/forecasting processMaintains regular communications and interactions with all levels of management regarding financial mattersOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

University degree in Finance related field (Business Administration or Commerce) requiredProfessional accounting designation or near completion (CPA) required3 - 5 years Accounting Experience required, preferably within the Automotive IndustryExperience in a supervisory role an assetUnderstanding of general accounting and account reconciliation principles requiredDemonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel required; Strong knowledge of Excel formulas considered an assetAble to work flexible hours and varied start/end times
