Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team based in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Being a key part of our finance department, you will oversee all accounting and finance-related functions, manage third-party partnerships for HR and IT services, and ensure the integrity of our internal control systems. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Manage collaborations with third-party partners to ensure efficient HR and IT services. • Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures to control accounting activities, budget controls, and tax-related matters. • Monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets and prepare interim management reports. • Prepare and present monthly financial statements with supporting documents in a timely and accurate manner. • Conduct daily revenue audits and manage the posting of revenues and receipts. • Oversee club banking activities, including deposits, cash reconciliation, and loan management. • Calculate, submit, and ensure timely payment of all state and local taxes. • Complete annual general insurance renewal applications and conduct reviews with CFO. • Lead the preparation and monitoring of operating budgets and perform other relevant accounting and management tasks as assigned.
