Job Description We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team at our Germantown, OH Location. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operation and supporting strategic decision-making. Duties and Responsibilities: + Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and internal controls specific to a manufacturing setting. + Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). + Analyze financial results, manufacturing costs, and variances; provide insights to support operations and strategic planning. + Assist in developing and managing the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. + Manage the Accounting Department, including oversight of payroll, inventory accounting, and cost accounting functions. + Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate production efficiency, capital investments, and cost reduction initiatives. + Coordinate with external auditors and prepare the required documentation for audits and compliance reviews. + Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal financial and tax regulations. + Recommend and track financial benchmarks, including KPIs relevant to manufacturing operations such as cost per unit, labor efficiency, and inventory turnover. + Administer and oversee the company's 401(k) plan and other benefit-related accounting. + Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications: + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Preferably Epicor) + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. + Understanding of standard costing, BOMs, and manufacturing processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. + At least 10 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment. + CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation preferred.
