Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with strong expertise in accounting and treasury management, particularly within a manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and managing banking relationships to support the company's financial health.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage all banking activities, including account maintenance, credit lines, and treasury operations.
• Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely transactions.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems, including Business Central and other financial software.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and audits to align with company goals.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Utilize CRM and reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports, to generate detailed financial insights.
• Monitor and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Business Central.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, AP, and AR processes.
• Expertise in banking operations, treasury management, and credit line handling.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting systems like Crystal Reports.
• Ability to manage budgets, perform audits, and conduct financial analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
