Description We are looking for an interim, experienced Controller to join our team on in the Middletown, Connecticut area. In this role, you will oversee critical financial functions, including reporting, data analysis, and compliance, while contributing to the development of key performance metrics. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial management and a keen attention to detail, some Costing accounting experience is a must. Responsibilities: • Execute monthly closing processes and prepare comprehensive financial reports. • Communicate financial results effectively to Group Controlling and other stakeholders. • Analyze data to ensure compliance with reporting standards and identify actionable insights. • Consolidate financial data to deliver accurate and timely financial results. • Coordinate and prepare management reports as well as detailed financial statements. • Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate plant productivity and operational efficiency. • Maintain accurate cost and inventory data to support financial decision-making. • Utilize tools like Hyperion Enterprise and Epicor ERP to streamline financial operations. • Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and accounting standards. • Support strategic initiatives through detailed financial analysis and reporting. Requirements • Proven expertise in accounting functions and financial statement preparation. • Strong knowledge of financial statement consolidation processes. • Proficiency in Epicor ERP and Hyperion Enterprise systems. • Ability to develop and monitor productivity and performance metrics. • Solid understanding of budgeting processes and compliance standards. • Experience in managing cost and inventory data. • Excellent analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach. • Effective communication skills to convey financial insights and results.
