Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is a long-term contract position ideal for a driven individual seeking to take ownership of financial processes in a dynamic environment. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, managing reporting systems, and contributing to the transition from outsourced services to in-house operations. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the transition of financial operations from outsourced providers to internal systems. • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. • Prepare and present detailed financial reports using QuickBooks Online and other accounting tools. • Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes. • Utilize reporting tools like Crystal Reports to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. • Implement and optimize accounting software systems to streamline processes. • Drive continuous improvements in financial operations within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Provide leadership and guidance in the preparation of key financial documents. Requirements • Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software systems. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Familiarity with auditing processes and regulatory compliance. • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Experience with financial reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
