As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s financial functions while driving operational improvements and ensuring financial stability. Key Responsibilities: + Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting. + Process Optimization: Identify, implement, and improve accounting workflows for efficiency and accuracy. + Financial Procedures: Develop and enforce financial processes that align with company policies and best practices. + Recordkeeping: Organize title processing, inventory management, and financial data to support sales and operations. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Perform financial planning, cash flow management, and assist in budget preparation. + Customer Financing: Partner with banks and lenders to create financing options for customers, optimizing sales opportunities. + Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to accounting principles and compliance standards. + Leadership: Provide strong leadership, guiding accountability and best practices across all financial functions. + Collaboration: Work directly with executive leadership to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making. + Accounting System Management: Become proficient in Lightspeed accounting software, using its tools to boost financial operations accuracy and efficiency.
