Program Controller – Project Delivery Services (NSW)

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value programs while partnering closely with experienced project leaders and client stakeholders.
You’ll help shape the planning, financial tracking, and risk management functions across our portfolio, providing the analysis and clarity needed to keep projects on track and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Project Director, Scheduler, and PMO to plan and set up projects during initiation phase Track project costs, budgets, and forecasts—proactively flagging potential overruns Maintain the PDS NSW risk register and ensure risks are documented and updated Support the full lifecycle of change management across project teams Deliver insightful reporting and financial analysis to guide project execution and leadership decisions Ensure accuracy in financial data inputs across project plans Drive continuous improvement in project controls and reporting practices Maintain compliance with document control processes and audit requirements Foster strong relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to align on project priorities What You’ll Bring Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite Sound understanding of project management principles and methodologies Experience supporting large-scale or complex projects, ideally in construction, infrastructure or related sectors High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Clear communicator with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups Familiarity with risk and quality assurance processes Confidence working both independently and collaboratively Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field PMP certification or similar (preferred) Prior experience in a similar role within construction, IT, or infrastructure environments Why Join BGIS?At BGIS, we don’t just build infrastructure — we build careers.
