Controller

Oversee financial operations, internal controls, budgeting, and reporting for a manufacturing organization with sales exceeding $25 million annually.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing environment

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Controller with full financial responsibility

Working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance

Experience with both manual and automated accounting systems

Strong financial analysis capabilities

Preferred Skills:

CPA certification

Background in companies with annual sales over $25 million

Affiliations with successful manufacturing organizations

Proven ability to manage financial teams and internal audits

Proficiency in microcomputer operations and accounting software systems

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and execute profit planning, budgeting, and cost control processes

Protect business assets through internal controls, auditing, and insurance coverage

Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies

Monitor performance against operating plans and prepare analytical reports for management

Ensure financial internal controls are in place and functioning properly

Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations

Support operational units with financial data and performance insights

Present critical matters to executive leadership for review and decision-making

Authorize cash disbursements in accordance with corporate policies

Implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives

Perform other duties as assigned by executive management



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
