What you will do…

Execute expense control, leadership, building trust, effective communication and work standardsDirect and perform financial accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial informationAssist with directing accounting functions, projects, and initiativesAssist with the development and implementation of annual capital and administrative budgetEnsure that all accounting functions are executed properly and efficiently in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards and regulationsOversee and manage financial reportingOversee the annual financial audit and other special audits or reviews. Meet periodically with the outside auditors to maintain and keep them informed of changes within the organizationEnsure that current accounting standards and legal requirements are metResponsible for tax filings and requirementsEnsure maintenance of appropriate internal controls, financial procedures, compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local laws and compliance with accounting policies of the organizationDevelop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needsProvide budget analysis, financial reporting, and financial trends for the leadership boardContribute and serve as a subject matter expert on the organization's leadership teamOptimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position

What you bring…

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceActive CPA requiredAudit experience requiredSAAS experience is a plus but not requiredDemonstrates strong analytical skills for complex business cases and process improvementsAbility to work independently or with others as part of a cross-functional teamAbility to understand business objectives and communicate as needed to other team members or external stakeholdersIntermediate Microsoft ExcelProficient in Microsoft Office - Word and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-stater, take initiative and is results-drivenFlexible, willing to adapt as priorities change and meets commitments by deadlinesTrustworthy and able to establish strong relationships with colleagues and customersStrong interpersonal and analytical skills.
