Which may seem pretty standard…until you get to the best part: The perks. 1) The pay rates are above what their top competitors pay their employees 2) They have higher bonus structures 3) There’s work from home flexibility and prioritization for employee work/life balance. 4) The position is a fast-track career growth opportunity (as the company is expanding rapidly thru acquisitions) 5) And more… Position Summary: Oversees accounting practices of the organization, accounting, responsible for direct supervision of all accounting and financial functions, ensures timely financial, statistical and accounting reporting, establishes and maintains accounting practices in conjunction with the CFO to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations, responsible for successful year-end process, ensures compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations Responsibilities/Accountabilities: + Responsible for direct supervision of accounting and financial functions, compliance with accounting principles and established company’s policies and procedures + Responsible for the month-end, quarterly and annual close of the accounts including preparation, review and recordation of journal entries to reflect monthly activity or necessary adjustments, preparation of supporting the month-end close reports and annual work-papers; distribution of the financial reports to the regional and executive teams; reviews, analyses and provides explanations to variances to the budget as requested + Responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements and related notes, performs analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained + Coordinates annual field work of the engaged auditing firms to assure timely compliance + Responsible for providing all the documentation and back up to assist auditing firms to file Medicaid capital reports + Responsible for inter-company bank transactions, ST advances and repayments, and proper reflection of the above on balance sheets of the organizations + Responsible for management fees calculations and proper presentation on the books of operating entities + Responsible for escrow statements reconciliations of all real estate entities + Assists CFO in preparation of annual budgets for all organizations + Reviews and closes bank reconciliations for all organizations, reconciles and processes bank related transactions for parent companies Requirements Job Requirements: + Advanced Degree in Accounting and/or Financial Management or CPA + 7+ years general accounting experience + 5+ years in supervisory or accounting manager position + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements + Exceptional knowledge of computer systems used by the organizations, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office To apply to this hybrid role, please send your resume to John Sadofsky at john.sadofsky@roberthalf.c0m Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
