Controller ANINE BING is looking for a Controller to join our accounting team. The Controller will drive and enhance our accounting operations, ensuring precise financial management to support ANINE BING's continued growth. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail or apparel, embodying analytical expertise and a commitment to efficiency. The Controller will lead and foster a high performing team and will play a key role in driving financial results. This role can be based in LA or remote and reports directly to the CFO. Responsibilities: + Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team. + Oversee the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP) and regulations. + Manage the month-end close process, ensuring its efficiency and accuracy with a focus on a condensed timeline. + Identify and implement process improvements to optimize accounting operations and enhance efficiency. + Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations. + Manage accounting for multiple subsidiaries, channels, and locations, including international operations. + Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including budget vs. actual analysis and variance explanations. + Manage cash flow and forecasting. + Play a key role in the implementation and management of NetSuite. + Identify and implement accounting tools to streamline processes, including reconciliations and close procedures.
