Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations within the Quebec region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial/manufacturing company. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management and reporting.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure cost-effectiveness.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Oversee internal and external audits.Identify and mitigate financial risks.Manage and mentor the finance team.Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business goals.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller.Experience in the industrial sector is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.Proficiency in financial software and tools.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.Additional InformationWhat we offer!
