Kforce has a client that is seeking a Controller in Reston, VA. Responsibilities: * Controller will oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll * Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts * Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements * Manage the month-end and year-end close processes * Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets * Coordinate and lead the annual audit process * Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making * As a Controller, you will manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance * Supervise and mentor accounting staff * Utilize QuickBooks software for all accounting functions and reporting
