We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Controller to join our client's team based in Louisville. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a strong command of financial management and analytical skills to contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including cash management, accounts receivable and payable, journal entries, and purchasing. Develop and enhance systems, policies, and procedures. Cost Management: Manage the standard cost system, focusing on overhead rates and variance analysis. Strategic Evaluation: Assess potential new ventures, acquisitions, and capital expenditure plans to support strategic growth. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports that inform and guide business decisions. Budget Oversight: Direct the annual budget development process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Tax Management: Prepare tax returns and other financial documentation, and implement strategies to optimize tax efficiency. Asset Management: Supervise asset depreciation schedules and maintain accurate records. Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with auditors, bankers, creditors, and legal counsel. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field required. CMA or CPA certification is highly desirable. A minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience in finance. Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally between 5-10 years. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team management and collaboration. Work Environment:
