Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to manage all financial aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring projects are completed within the allocated budget. This role requires close monitoring of expenses and identifying potential cost overruns.
ResponsibilitiesManage all financial aspects of construction projects.Develop and oversee project budgets.Implement cost control measures.Prepare and present financial reports.Ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.Monitor expenses and identify potential cost overruns.Manage a financial team of 5 members.Assist the CFO by reducing her workload and allowing her to focus more on strategic tasks.Essential SkillsProficiency in financial reporting.Advanced Excel skills, including creating pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, coding, creating formulas, and using Power Query.Minimum 1 year of cost accounting experience.Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction company.At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or higher.Prior management experience with a team of at least 5 members.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Work Environment
The work environment involves managing a team of 5 and running the entire financial department. This role allows the CFO to focus more on her strategic responsibilities. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $120000.00
