A Kforce client in the Baltimore, MD area is looking to add a Controller to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where you'll touch all aspects of the organization's Finance & Accounting. Key Tasks: * Controller will manage all financial operations of the company including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal control systems * Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance functions of the organization including responsibility for the company's general ledger * Perform monthly close tasks and report as necessary to owners and outside accountants * Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives * Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts * Collect and analyze corporate financial data to provide management with internal reports needed * As a Controller, you will reconcile all bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis * Look for ways to implement financial processes and procedures to increase the financial health of the organization * Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
