We’re seeking a forward-thinking Controller with a keen understanding of financial operations, cost management, and the nuances of a dynamic business. What You'll Do:
+ Drive Financial Excellence: Lead all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing, ensuring precision and adherence to compliance standards.
+ Champion Strategic Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze data, and contribute to the strategic vision by delivering actionable financial insights.
+ Optimize Cost Structures: Collaborate across departments to understand and refine operations and cost-control measures, aligning them with organizational goals.
+ Master Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
+ Enable Agile Budgeting: Contribute to the budgeting processes, assess proposals, and provide insightful analysis to guide leadership in decision-making.
+ Enhance Operational Integrity: Oversee internal controls, policies, and compliance to ensure seamless regulatory adherence and minimize risk exposure.
+ Foster Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with executives and managers to provide clear, timely updates on financial performance and forecasts.
+ Lead CPA Review, Tax, and Compliance Efforts: Coordinate annual independent CPA Review and ensure the organization meets all federal, state, and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA strongly preferred).
+ Netsuite Experience is Prefered
+ Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
+ Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred
+ Laboratory experience a plus
+ Proven ability to lead teams, influence decisions, and manage multiple priorities with flexibility and precision.
+ Strong grasp of regulatory compliance, tax laws, and payroll practices.
+ Ability to sit at a computer, type and visually interact with data at a screen for extended periods of time
