Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Controller will play a vital role in financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, compliance, process improvement, team leadership, and strategic planning. Responsibilities: • Effective management of all accounting functions, inclusive of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. • Preparation and presentation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights into the company's financial performance, identifying areas for potential improvement. • Supervision of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reports. • Development, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Ensure company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, as well as GAAP. • Coordinate all audit activities and provide support to external auditors. • Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining accounting processes and enhancing operational efficiency. • Implement and optimize financial systems and tools to improve data accuracy and reporting capabilities. • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. • Lead financial planning efforts to align resources with company goals and strategic initiatives. • Collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term financial strategies and projections. • Participate in financial modeling, scenario planning, and risk analysis to support business decisions. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M software • Extensive knowledge and experience with accounting software systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Demonstrated ability to use CRM effectively • Proficiency in Crystal Reports • Comprehensive understanding and execution of accounting functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proven experience in auditing • Familiarity with budget processes • Experience in Private Equity • Demonstrated ability in process improvement • Experience in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives • Public accounting experience For more information on this Controller role and other full time accounting and finance opportunities, please contact us at 484.214.2365 and reference JO#03710-0013141352.
