Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team based in Youngstown, Ohio. This role is primarily concentrated in the manufacturing industry, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Controller, you will play a significant role in managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing strong leadership to the staff. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Conduct internal controls and systems to maintain financial stability. • Monitor and keep the credit cash flow correct, ensuring smooth financial operations. • Provide leadership to the staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. • Oversee the compliance of payroll operations, working with ADP. • Conduct two physical inventories per year, ensuring accurate record keeping. • Manage budget processes, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. • Oversee the auditing processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Work as a working manager, collaborating with other team members for efficient operations.
