Key Objective(s):
The main purpose of the Parks Controller is:
+ Responsible for providing leadership and coordination for the company’s financial statements, cash controls, budget preparation and year end audit review.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Preparing, monitoring and analyzing the monthly financial results against the budget
+ Enhancing the accuracy of the financial reports and ensuring compliance
+ Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and cash room departments
+ Establishing and implementing short and long range department goals, policies and operating procedures
+ Directing and delegating the year-end financial audits for all the parks attractions
+ Supervising the Parks Administration staff; recruit, train, and evaluate
+ Establishing and maintaining the point of sale systems, accounting systems and internal cash control systems
+ Other responsibilities as required
Desired Qualifications:
+ Five (5) to ten (10) years of accounting experience in a large scale environment
+ A Certified Management Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to efficiently learn and use new software programs
+ Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including General Accepted Accounting Procedures
+ Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
+ Must be able to pass a basic security clearance
